for our friends in distress (Updated 1/19)
Many of those in our patrol family, or their family members, are suffering through the hardships of cancer treatments or other life threatening illnesses.
Nancy Miller, spouse of retired Major Russ Miller, is being treated at Riverside Hospital for lung cancer, undergoing chemotherapy treatments.
Retired Captain Ron Hoeft was hospitalized for 8 days with COVID and a fractured neck from a fall. He is doing better, recovering at his home.
Kevin Stegner, age 63, father of Active Dispatcher Supervisor James (Matt) Stegner, passed away on January 10, 2020. There will be a private service for the family in Chicago, Illinois.
Active Trooper Brad Huffman (pictured left) is in serious condition after being hospitalized with COVID 19. Brad is being treated in the intensive care unit at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. His current assignment is with the LCS Unit at the Piqua DHQ. Please keep Brad and his family in your prayers.
